DISCOVER CARD no Longer Accepted
Dear Customer,
We regret that as of Wednesday, October 21st we can no longer accept Discover Card as a form of payment.
Discover’s standard merchant agreement apparently allows them to sell or give our information, including bank account details, to third party affiliates. This was unknown to us, and not acceptable.
Yesterday, one of Discover’s affiliates (MDHP, or Merchant's Discount Health Plan) made a fraudulent electronic withdrawal directly from our business checking account. This affiliate is not someone we do, or have ever, done business with. Fortunately we discovered this activity within the 24 hours allowed to us by law to refuse the transaction.
We regret any inconvenience this may cause you.
